We are seeking an SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant with experience in procurement, inventory management, and materials planning processes. Job Summary
We are seeking an SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant with experience in procurement, inventory management, and materials planning processes. The candidate will be responsible for SAP MM configuration, business process support, integration with other SAP modules, and resolving functional issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP MM functionalities.
- Manage procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, goods issues, and invoice verification.
- Support purchasing configuration, purchasing document types, release strategies or workflows, and account determination.
- Maintain and support material master data, vendor or supplier master data, purchasing information records, and source lists.
- Work on inventory management processes, including stock transfers, transfer postings, physical inventory, and stock reconciliation.
- Support valuation, material movements, and integration with financial accounting.
- Work with procurement teams to understand business requirements and improve purchasing processes.
- Support integration between SAP MM and SAP FICO, SD, PP, QM, and eWM.
- Troubleshoot procurement, inventory, material valuation, and invoice verification issues.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test scenarios.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
- Support data migration, system enhancements, deployments, and production support.
- Coordinate with business users and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver functional improvements.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and material valuation.
- Experience in SAP MM configuration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and stock movements.
- Knowledge of integration with SAP FICO, SD, PP, and other relevant modules.
- Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA procurement processes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
