About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee key supplier relationships and ensure the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for supplier governance, qualification, performance management, sourcing strategies, and delivery assurance while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and drive long-term partnerships.
- Lead supplier governance meetings to review capacity, delivery, quality, and project risks.
- Develop supply plans and secure manufacturing capacity for critical equipment.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality, delivery, and contractual issues.
- Conduct supplier qualification, audits, and capability assessments.
- Maintain approved supplier lists and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and cost optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, or supply chain.
- Experience supporting large capital projects within infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
- Strong background in supplier governance, audits, contract negotiation, and risk management.
- Familiarity with quality management standards and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally (20–40%).
