About Client: HAVI is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Tech HUB in Kuala Lumpur. This is a high-visibility role for a communicative finance professional who enjoys being the bridge between local operations, statutory authorities, external partners, and our global finance teams.
You'll act as the local finance anchor in KL, reporting to the Chief Accountant in our Krakow Finance HUB (Poland) and working daily with our external accounting provider to keep our statutory, tax, and reporting obligations on track.

About Client: HAVI is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Tech HUB in Kuala Lumpur. This is a high-visibility role for a communicative finance professional who enjoys being the bridge between local operations, statutory authorities, external partners, and our global finance teams.
You'll act as the local finance anchor in KL, reporting to the Chief Accountant in our Krakow Finance HUB (Poland) and working daily with our external accounting provider to keep our statutory, tax, and reporting obligations on track.
What you'll do
- Coordinate local statutory compliance with our external provider — tax filings (CIT, SST, WHT) and statutory financial statements
- Perform first-level reviews of tax computations and statutory accounts for accuracy and consistency
- Act as the local extension of the Krakow Finance HUB, providing inputs for month-end close, US GAAP adjustments, and group reporting
- Support statutory and group audits, liaising with external auditors and the Krakow team
- Provide guidance on local regulatory and invoicing standards (e.g. SST compliance)
- Identify and escalate risks early, and drive continuous improvement across local and central finance processes
- Support cash flow, liquidity planning, and budget/forecast cycles
What you'll bring
- 4–6 years of Malaysian accounting/tax experience, with exposure to statutory reporting and audits
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian compliance (MFRS); IFRS familiarity valued; US GAAP a plus
- Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable coordinating across an international, matrix environment
- An analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
- Fluent English; additional local language skills are a plus
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; a professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA) or Master's is an advantage
