Role Purpose:
Responsible for sourcing and managing vendors and contractors involved in integrating equipment into prefabricated modular solutions, including power/genset modules, cooling stations, and IT modules. This role ensures modular integrators deliver factory-assembled and tested modules that fully comply with design specifications as well as FWT/FAT requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and manage modular integrators (fabricators) for power/genset modules, cooling modules, and IT modules.
- Coordinate closely with the design team to ensure factory designs align with module integration requirements.
- Review integrator proposals, technical drawings, quality documentation, and project plans.
- Monitor production progress at integrator facilities, conduct factory visits, and witness Factory Witness Tests (FWT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Ensure modular integrators comply with all safety, quality, delivery schedules, and project milestones.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate transportation and delivery of modules to project sites, including specialized shipping requirements.
- Drive value engineering initiatives and cost optimization for modular design solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in modular construction, prefab integration, or vendor management within data centre or industrial modular solution environments.
- Strong knowledge of power generation/distribution modules, cooling plants, and IT aisle containment systems.
- Experience with FAT/SAT protocols and interface coordination activities.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and mechanical layouts.
- Willingness to travel to integrator factories as required.
