This role is ideal for an experienced automation professional who enjoys designing governed, observable, and reliable solutions that improve operational efficiency while working within enterprise guardrails.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Copilot Studio agents that support request intake, pipeline monitoring, deployment verification, and remediation workflows.
- Implement human-in-the-loop controls for critical actions and support escalation paths when approvals or intervention are required.
- Ground agent responses and actions in approved internal knowledge sources and allow-listed external sources.
- Configure integrations with ServiceNow, including OAuth2 registry setup, identity flows, and access coordination with platform teams.
- Support bi-directional experiences between Copilot Studio agents and ServiceNow Virtual Agent using bot interconnect and handoff patterns.
- Enable ServiceNow REST API usage for knowledge base and ticketing workflows while aligning with security and data governance standards.
- Build and promote solutions through governed DEV, UAT, and PROD environments using managed deployment practices and CI/CD gates.
- Maintain operational visibility through dashboards, alerts, logging, and audit trails for monitoring, remediation, and governance reviews.
- Ensure solutions follow approved connector usage, DLP requirements, naming conventions, ownership standards, and backup strategies.
- Participate in lifecycle, IAM attestation, and guardrail review processes, and help remediate issues identified by platform operators.
Skills
- Hands-on experience designing and operating declarative agents in Copilot Studio.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow integration concepts, including authentication, REST APIs, and Virtual Agent handoff patterns.
- Understanding of secure automation practices, approval workflows, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Experience working in governed enterprise environments with DLP, connector review, and deployment controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration issues, monitor runtime behavior, and respond to failures with safe-stop thinking.
- Familiarity with logging, auditability, and operational monitoring tools such as centralized observability platforms.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with platform, governance, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with clear compliance and security expectations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CI/CD workflows supporting managed environments and controlled releases.
- Exposure to enterprise governance, compliance, or risk review processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem services that support automation and workflow orchestration.
- Experience supporting knowledge management or ticketing automation use cases.
- Background in remediation workflows, incident response, or operational support automation.
