JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist to lead strategic email marketing initiatives that support awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to plan, build, execute, and optimize marketing programs that advance business goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated email marketing strategies across the full funnel, including nurture, lifecycle, and customer journey programs.
  • Partner with marketing, digital, and business stakeholders to create audience-focused plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Build and manage campaigns in Adobe Marketo and CRM systems, including segmentation, personalization, automation, lead scoring, and list management.
  • Create engaging, persona-based email content and collaborate on copy, templates, and dynamic content execution.
  • Apply HTML/CSS knowledge to support responsive email design, accessibility, rendering, and cross-client quality assurance.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and use insights to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
  • Plan and run A/B or multivariate tests to optimize messaging, timing, audience targeting, and overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Support deliverability and compliance best practices, including authentication, consent, privacy, and email regulation requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders while maintaining quality, transparency, and strong attention to detail.
  • Contribute strategic recommendations and help influence decisions through clear communication and data-informed thinking.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of marketing experience, or a master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Marketo and CRM platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of email marketing strategy, automation, segmentation, lifecycle programs, and campaign development.
  • Experience creating and optimizing email content for different audiences and marketing goals.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, responsive email design, accessibility, and email QA.
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and translate results into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with testing methodologies such as A/B or multivariate testing.
  • Understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, authentication, and list hygiene practices.
  • Strong project management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with marketing automation beyond core campaign execution.
  • Familiarity with AI tools used to support content development.
  • Experience working with target audiences, market research, or competitive analysis.
  • Background supporting large or well-known brands.
  • Exposure to healthcare, business, or marketing-related environments.
  • Comfort working in a changing, deadline-driven setting.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.
