  • Monitor system performance, identify issues proactively, and help reduce operational toil through analytics and problem prevention.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and AIX/VIOS network administration.
  • Experience with NFS, SUDO, LDAP client administration, SSH, and SFTP server/client support.
  • Ability to troubleshoot performance, tuning, and operational issues in UNIX environments.
  • Experience using automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Python, Aria, or UNIX scripting.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while taking initiative to identify and resolve issues.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting networking and storage technologies in a financial services or similarly structured environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Exposure to analytics-driven or proactive operations support.
  • Experience with system administration in highly secure or regulated environments.
  • Comfort working onsite and supporting teams across multiple locations.
