Responsibilities
- Coordinate with vendors supporting office operations, maintenance, deliveries, supplies, and janitorial services.
- Partner with workplace and cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, comfortable, and efficient office environment.
- Respond to workplace tickets promptly and communicate clearly and empathetically while resolving issues.
- Troubleshoot and address office issues such as equipment failures, restroom concerns, appliance problems, and similar operational needs.
- Perform minor repairs and coordinate more complex maintenance with the appropriate service providers.
- Support emergency response efforts in collaboration with Security and help maintain compliance with local codes.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and organization.
- Set up furniture and workstation configurations for meetings, events, and new or changing employee needs.
- Assist with workstation setups, including monitors, monitor arms, and ergonomic equipment.
- Help maintain standard operating procedures and support office culture and workplace norms.
- Collaborate with People Operations, Security, and external vendors on daily needs and long-term workplace operations.
- Support HVAC, preventive maintenance, office moves, restacks, reconfigurations, permits, inspections, safety needs, and code compliance.
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in workplace coordination or building operations.
- Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, elevators, plumbing, and lighting.
- Ability to oversee maintenance, repairs, and service providers effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent organization, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfort with hands-on work and a willingness to take on a wide range of tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing workplace projects or programs in a multi-building or high-growth environment.
- Background in vendor management, hospitality, or food and beverage support.
- Experience with office moves, preventive maintenance, or HVAC-related coordination.
- Familiarity with permit, license, and inspection requirements.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and supporting a mission-driven, forward-thinking workplace.
