JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Lead to serve as the senior delivery authority on a high-impact client account, combining technical credibility with end-to-end execution leadership. This role is ideal for a seasoned technology leader who can build trust with executive stakeholders, guide complex delivery workstreams, and help drive growth through strong client partnership and solutioning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment on schedule, quality, budget, staffing, and margin
  • Serve as the primary technical and delivery authority for executive-level client conversations and account credibility
  • Guide solution direction and redirect approaches when needed before client-facing presentations or commitments
  • Partner with architecture, program/project management, and product leadership to remove blockers and keep delivery on track
  • Resolve escalations that require senior-level judgment and technical decision-making
  • Oversee delivery KPIs, including on-time delivery, budget performance, quality, and utilization
  • Review and approve staffing and resourcing changes within account guidelines
  • Support the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development practices across the delivery organization
  • Maintain regular on-site engagement with the client to strengthen relationships and stay close to evolving needs
  • Identify expansion opportunities within the account and partner with client leadership to shape them into new work
  • Coach and support delivery leaders, architects, project managers, and product managers across the account

Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, with significant senior leadership experience
  • Strong hands-on technical background with deep engineering and solutioning expertise
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end delivery outcomes across large, complex client engagements
  • Experience building trust with executive stakeholders and communicating effectively at the leadership level
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and make sound architecture and delivery decisions
  • Comfort operating in a dual role that balances technical credibility and commercial delivery accountability
  • Experience leading distributed onshore and offshore teams
  • Ability to mentor senior delivery professionals and provide thoughtful escalation support
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently to client sites as needed

Preferred Skills

  • Prior leadership experience in a consulting, systems integration, or enterprise technology environment
  • Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry
  • Background as a Director, Sr. Director, Technical Director, or similar senior title
  • History of contributing to account growth or expansion through trusted client relationships
  • Experience working in AI-augmented or agent-orchestrated delivery models
