Join a large-scale technology modernization program supporting hardware upgrades across more than 1,000 plant locations. This Senior IT Project Manager role offers the opportunity to bring structure, coordination, and clear execution to a dynamic environment with a mix of Agile and waterfall delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support approximately five active workstreams within a broad plant technology modernization initiative
- Partner with workstream leads to clarify scope, deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
- Build and maintain detailed project plans aligned to program goals
- Organize task backlogs and help coordinate ownership, sequencing, and completion
- Track milestones, forecasts, risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation actions
- Maintain accurate, organized project documentation and status reporting
- Develop a unified roadmap across workstreams to improve visibility and alignment
- Coordinate across technical teams, business partners, and deployment groups
- Review deliverables against expectations and agreed schedules
- Communicate updates, decisions, and action items to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
- Support change management efforts tied to workstreams and deployment activities
- Help establish repeatable processes in an evolving program environment
- Facilitate productive discussions when priorities differ across teams
- Use Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office tools to support collaboration and tracking
- Use JIRA, when applicable, for roadmap development, backlog management, and storyboarding
Skills
- 7+ years of dedicated project management experience
- Experience leading complex initiatives with multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong ability to create project plans and manage execution against deliverables
- Skilled in stakeholder management and professional communication
- Ability to navigate competing priorities and keep teams aligned on next steps
- Experience identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Comfort working in both Agile and waterfall delivery models
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for roadmap development, backlog management, or storyboarding
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise hardware deployments
- Background coordinating technology rollouts across multiple physical locations
- Experience working with technical, operational, and vendor teams on shared deliverables
- Exposure to organizational change activities tied to technology implementations
