Join a dynamic cloud engineering team helping shape and support an enterprise AWS initiative with a strong focus on infrastructure, automation, and secure environment design. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with cloud operations, infrastructure as code, and modern development tools in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise services and related environments
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code using automation and scripting practices
- Develop and implement procedures that support reliable, scalable, and secure cloud operations
- Collaborate with Agile team members during daily ceremonies and ongoing delivery work
- Provide best-practice guidance for configuring AWS environments and cloud-based solutions
- Support application development tooling and environment needs within the cloud ecosystem
- Contribute to documentation for operational standards, technical processes, and environment support
- Participate in an on-call rotation as part of ongoing infrastructure support
Skills
- Strong experience supporting AWS operations in production or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code and cloud automation tools
- Proficiency with Terraform, Go, Python, and GitLab CI/CD
- Background working in Linux environments and serverless or Lambda-based architectures
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and cloud infrastructure fundamentals
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting cloud security practices and environment hardening
- Prior work in an Agile delivery environment
- Familiarity with best practices for AWS application development tooling
- Experience creating or improving operational procedures and technical standards
- Ability to contribute ideas that improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability
