Join a data engineering team supporting a fast-moving fashion and e-commerce business, where you’ll help build and modernize data pipelines that power analytics, operations, and AI initiatives. This in-office role in New York offers the opportunity to work on meaningful technical challenges across AWS, partner closely with business stakeholders, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain modern data pipelines and BI solutions on AWS
- Improve ETL workflows to strengthen data quality, reliability, and freshness
- Support the migration of legacy data features and processes to a cloud-based platform
- Work with stakeholders across the business to translate needs into scalable data solutions
- Collaborate with science and engineering partners to bring AI-related solutions into production
- Monitor systems, automate recurring tasks, and help reduce operational issues
- Contribute to team learning, reviews, and engineering best practices
- Use AI-powered developer and data tools to improve productivity and code quality
Skills
- Experience designing and delivering data engineering solutions
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline development
- Hands-on experience with AWS-based data platforms
- Ability to work through complex data problems with accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to support operational excellence through monitoring and process improvement
- Comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience modernizing legacy systems to cloud-based architectures
- Exposure to BI reporting and analytics enablement
- Background supporting data foundations for AI or machine learning solutions
- Interest in fashion, e-commerce, or customer-focused digital products
