Join a fast-paced manufacturing operations team as a Technical Program Manager focused on bringing structure, clarity, and visibility to critical engineering work. This hands-on role blends on-the-floor collaboration, technical documentation, and program management to help keep builds, milestones, and cross-functional actions moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Translate spreadsheet-based tracking into organized Jira workflows, dashboards, and issue structures that fit how the team operates.
• Connect data across tools and reporting sources to create a reliable view of program status, material readiness, build progress, and risks.
• Build and maintain leadership-ready dashboards that surface real-time updates on milestones, open actions, and operational blockers.
• Draft and update technical documentation such as SOPs, build procedures, process notes, decision logs, and status reports.
• Work closely with engineers and operators on the production floor to identify issues firsthand and help remove blockers in person.
• Lead meeting cadence, capture decisions and action items, and ensure follow-through on commitments.
• Track cross-functional tasks across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality, keeping priorities and risks visible.
• Look for opportunities to streamline repetitive reporting and automate recurring data collection where possible.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical program management, project coordination, or a similar role within hardware, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Strong Jira skills, including project setup, workflow configuration, custom fields, dashboards, and JQL.
• Experience moving tracking from spreadsheets into structured project management tools.
• Strong technical writing ability with the confidence to produce clear documentation from engineering direction.
• Comfort using Excel or Google Sheets for analysis, pivots, and reporting.
• Working familiarity with databases or tools such as Quickbase, including basic reporting and views.
• Comfort in a manufacturing setting and willingness to spend time on the floor with engineering and operations teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting hardware NPI or manufacturing programs.
• Familiarity with build schedules, BOM tracking, material readiness, and engineering change processes.
• Experience with visualization or dashboard tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Ability to support cross-functional work involving engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing partners.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through in a dynamic environment.
