Responsibilities

• Support software release testing to help confirm quality and deployment readiness
• Assist with vehicle operations and mission support across a variety of tasks
• Perform basic software operation activities and help launch software across multiple vehicle devices
• Verify software and hardware configurations and capture requested data during mission prep
• Document work clearly and provide written and verbal feedback to engineering partners
• Analyze logs and test data using internal tools to help identify root causes and trace failures
• Help manage defects from identification through resolution
• Prepare targeted test cases for emergency and maintenance releases
• Contribute to testing and data collection efforts that improve processes and tools
• Help transition manual in-vehicle test cases into simulation environments where appropriate
• Maintain a safety-focused, collaborative, and open-communication work style

Skills

• At least 2 years of experience running complex testing or vehicle testing efforts
• Experience supporting QA testing for software releases
• Ability to execute detailed test cases, document outcomes, and report defects accurately
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or Azure DevOps
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay effective in high-pressure situations
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• A proactive, resourceful, and get-it-done mindset
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Commitment to safety, quality, and thorough documentation

Preferred Skills

• Python or other scripting/programming experience
• Familiarity with communication buses such as CAN or Ethernet
• Experience writing test cases for release, maintenance, or emergency workflows
• Comfort working with simulation environments
• Experience using in-house tools for log analysis or test data review
