Join a dynamic field marketing team in a hands-on role focused on executing planned programs, events, and campaigns that support a federal business. This remote contract opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, event logistics, and helping drive engagement and pipeline through well-run field initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Execute existing field marketing programs and campaigns supporting federal business priorities.
- Coordinate and support tradeshows, customer events, partner events, executive dinners, and webinars.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to prioritize requests and align activities with business goals.
- Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, registrations, and onsite support as needed.
- Work closely with marketing operations and corporate marketing to launch and support campaigns.
- Help drive attendance through invitations, communications, and follow-up outreach.
- Track event and campaign performance and provide basic reporting on results.
- Support budget tracking and purchase order processes when needed.
Skills
- Experience in field marketing, event marketing, or regional marketing within B2B technology.
- Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
- Experience collaborating across sales, marketing, and channel teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a distributed team.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, event management platforms such as Splash, Tableau, procurement tools, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting federal or public sector sales organizations.
- Background in planning and executing high-touch in-person and virtual events.
- Comfort working with marketing operations, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep programs on track.
- Experience monitoring program metrics and sharing insights with stakeholders.
