Join a dynamic People Analytics team supporting reporting, dashboard maintenance, and data-driven decision-making across the employee experience. This remote contract opportunity is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys turning complex HR data into clear insights, accurate reporting, and actionable support for business partners.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and audit recurring People Analytics dashboards and reports to help ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Support weekly, monthly, and other recurring reporting processes, including preparation, validation, and submission support for compliance-related needs.
- Analyze data and build insights in response to stakeholder requests and business questions.
- Write and refine SQL queries to extract, join, and validate data from HR and reporting systems.
- Support Workday reporting and data extraction efforts, including troubleshooting and basic report development as needed.
- Document metric definitions, reporting logic, and data sources to support transparency and auditability.
- Identify and escalate data quality issues when they arise.
- Balance ad hoc analytics requests with recurring deliverables while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in analytics or reporting within People/HR, Operations, Finance, or a similar data-focused environment.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction, joining, and validation.
- Experience with Workday or a similar HRIS, including reporting, data structures, or data extracts.
- Hands-on experience maintaining BI dashboards and recurring reporting.
- Strong focus on data quality, accuracy, and auditability.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain metrics, limitations, and recommendations to non-technical audiences.
- Comfort using approved AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, support query development, summarize findings, and document logic while protecting data privacy and confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Master’s degree or comparable advanced education that may substitute for some experience, depending on company policy.
- Experience supporting people-related compliance reporting.
- Exposure to troubleshooting or configuring reporting solutions within Workday.
- Ability to adapt quickly, manage shifting priorities, and support multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to solving problems and improving reporting processes.
