Step into a hands-on IT support role where you’ll help keep site infrastructure running smoothly and support day-to-day technology needs across a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users, and working across systems, hardware, networking, and software in a collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Support site-level IT infrastructure, including workstations, printers, telecom, networking, and server-related needs.
- Configure, deploy, install, migrate, patch, replace, and troubleshoot hardware and software used across the site.
- Provide support for Windows PCs, manufacturing printers, and basic networking environments.
- Assist with standard software support, including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and help document requirements and process improvements.
- Support ITSM activities and respond to site support needs as part of an on-call or pager rotation.
- Help maintain uptime and performance for site-related hardware, software, and network resources.
- Monitor and support expectations related to endpoints, tickets, telecom, and vulnerability tracking.
- Participate in required site, IT, production, safety, and compliance training and activities.
Skills
- 2–3 years of IT infrastructure experience supporting end-user devices and site technology.
- Working knowledge of Windows PCs, printers, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience supporting or troubleshooting telecom, LAN/WAN, Ethernet, VPN, wireless, routers, and switches.
- Ability to support a mix of Wintel/Linux systems and common workplace applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to triage issues and follow established procedures.
- Ability to gather requirements and document business or technical processes clearly.
- Comfort working in a support role with guidance and defined expectations.
- High school diploma required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing or site-based environments.
- Familiarity with printer models used in industrial settings, such as HP and Zebra.
- Exposure to dashboard or performance tracking for IT assets and support metrics.
- Experience with ITSM processes and incident management workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with users and technical teams to improve processes and support outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
