Join a distributed team delivering enterprise-scale product information management solutions for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. This remote PIM Data Engineer role offers the opportunity to shape data architecture, implement scalable PIM solutions, and collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders on high-visibility digital transformation work.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support enterprise PIM solutions with a focus on scalability and reliability
- Lead delivery of complex product information management initiatives from architecture through execution
- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, architects, and client stakeholders to gather requirements and drive solutions
- Build and integrate systems using APIs and third-party platforms to support data and commerce workflows
- Work with AWS services to help power modern data-driven solutions
- Develop clear technical documentation and communicate progress effectively in a distributed environment
- Support secure handling of data and help promote information security best practices throughout the project lifecycle
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, solution-oriented team culture
Skills
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Akeneo PIM implementation and architecture experience
- 3 to 5 years of recent e-commerce experience
- Experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, AppSync, and DynamoDB
- Strong understanding of data architecture and PIM platform configuration best practices
- Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and contribute to client conversations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience designing scalable PIM solutions in enterprise environments
- Background with enterprise e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or Adobe Commerce
- Exposure to other data management platforms such as MDM or DAM
- Relevant PIM or MDM certifications, including Akeneo, Enterworks, or Salsify
- Experience supporting large-scale e-commerce development and optimization efforts
- Confidence leading client calls and translating business needs into technical requirements
