Bring your UI/UX expertise to a collaborative, modern digital environment where you’ll help shape intuitive experiences across web platforms for learners and healthcare users. This 12-month remote opportunity focuses on end-to-end design, accessibility, and cross-functional partnership to support a major technology and operations modernization initiative.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes, responsive mockups, and UI documentation that support clear developer handoff.
- Design user-centered digital experiences that reflect accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles.
- Collaborate with UX researchers to translate user insights into thoughtful interface solutions.
- Work closely with content specialists to develop effective page layouts using established web components and patterns.
- Partner with front-end developers to refine component designs and ensure technical feasibility.
- Contribute to the design of modern digital workflows that improve usability and support business goals.
- Help align navigation, interaction patterns, and visual storytelling across digital experiences.
- Participate in iterative testing and refinement of design concepts throughout the product lifecycle.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, wireframing, responsive design, and design handoff documentation.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and web accessibility standards.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including researchers, developers, and content strategists.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and connect them to business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong collaboration skills, emotional intelligence, and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience contributing to enterprise design systems.
- Familiarity with backlog refinement or requirements tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Interest in using AI-assisted design or research tools.
- Background in healthcare, laboratory operations, or client experience environments.
- Awareness of current design trends across digital platforms, higher education, and academic medicine.
