Bring your hospitality mindset and service-focused approach to a front-of-house role that helps create a smooth, welcoming experience for employees and visitors alike. This onsite position in Boston supports workplace operations, events, reception, and day-to-day office coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, direct them appropriately, and notify internal contacts of arrivals
- Handle incoming calls, screen and route them to the right people or departments
- Support workplace events, employee activities, meetings, and conference room coordination
- Help plan and execute event setup, teardown, and post-event space reset
- Assist with new hire readiness, including workspace setup, arrival support, and access coordination
- Maintain a secure, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Provide helpful local recommendations for hotels, restaurants, transportation, and team activities
- Respond to workplace requests and escalate or document issues as needed
- Track and replenish office supplies, snacks, and break area inventory
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and publications
- Coordinate express mail pickups and deliveries
- Support office administration tasks such as vendor setup, purchase orders, and invoice processing
- Work onsite Monday through Friday; this role does not offer remote or hybrid work
Skills
- At least 2 years of professional experience
- Background in office services, concierge, reception, hospitality, or a similar front-of-house role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with people at all levels of an organization
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Ability to follow established procedures and support workplace safety and security practices
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting onsite events, meetings, or office operations
- Previous hotel or hospitality front-desk experience
- Familiarity with building safety, fire life safety, or environmental health and safety guidelines
- Experience with coordination, scheduling, and administrative support
- Strong customer service instincts and a hospitality-first approach
- Ability to adapt and assist with additional tasks when needed
