Join a dynamic workplace operations team in a part-time Office Administrator role supporting a fast-paced Seattle office. This position is ideal for a highly organized, service-minded professional who enjoys creating a smooth, welcoming environment and keeping day-to-day operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations by performing regular walkthroughs and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Manage office, kitchen, and facilities supplies, including inventory tracking, ordering, and restocking
- Serve as a point of contact for facilities and IT issues, submitting tickets and following up through resolution
- Coordinate with building management and vendors for maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and other on-site needs
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Support cross-functional partners such as IT, HR, Facilities, and food program teams with on-site needs
- Help plan and execute office events, team gatherings, holiday celebrations, and employee engagement activities
- Assist with daily meals, snacks, beverages, and other workplace experience programs
- Maintain office documentation, wiki content, and site-specific internal pages
- Track office expenses, support budget management, and handle ad hoc administrative requests
- Support local onboarding and orientation for new team members
- Assist with space planning and prepare for future headcount needs
- Help coordinate logistics and technology for meetings and broadcasts
Skills
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in office administration, workplace operations, or a related role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with vendors, facilities partners, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to provide a high level of employee-facing support with attention to detail
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing needs
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting office operations in a high-growth technology environment
- Background in event coordination or workplace engagement initiatives
- Familiarity with facilities processes, ticketing systems, or office budgeting
- Experience supporting onboarding, internal communications, or workplace documentation
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
