JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a fast-paced accounting team as an AR Collections Analyst focused on managing receivables, resolving billing issues, and keeping customer accounts accurate. This role is a great fit for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and making a direct impact on cash flow and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily collections efforts for a portfolio of more than 200 accounts.
  • Communicate with customers and payment portals to research payment status and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes, short payments, and overpayments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records by supporting reconciliations, payment application, adjustments, credit memos, write-offs, and account updates.
  • Partner with internal teams to address billing questions and improve resolution of receivable issues.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities and sharing practical solutions.
  • Support additional projects as needed in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Skills

  • 3+ years of collections experience, ideally with small to medium-sized customer accounts.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Docs, and Gmail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to stay organized, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and follow through with minimal direction.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other related business tools.
  • Associate degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Comfort adapting to changing needs and supporting work outside standard hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
