Join a collaborative team as a Technical Business Analyst supporting testing, validation, and reporting efforts for a data transformation initiative. This hybrid role in Irving, TX focuses on rebuilding reports, validating data across systems, and helping ensure a smooth go-live with strong documentation and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases to support user acceptance testing and business validation activities
• Analyze existing reports, document logic, and help define future-state reporting requirements
• Rebuild reports and validate outputs across multiple systems to support accurate business reporting
• Perform data reconciliation and validation across Yardi, Investran, and Snowflake
• Track, triage, and manage defects through resolution and retesting
• Support trial balance, general ledger, and financial reporting validations
• Document findings, reconciliation results, report specifications, and sign-off materials
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to support testing and successful go-live readiness

Skills

• Strong SQL skills
• Python experience for data validation and automation
• Hands-on experience with UAT planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management
• Ability to validate data, identify discrepancies, and reconcile results across systems
• Background in financial reporting or fund accounting concepts such as GL, TB, and COA
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Snowflake
• Experience with code-based BI tools such as Streamlit
• Background using Power BI or Tableau
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience reverse engineering reports and defining KPIs
• Familiarity with financial systems and reporting workflows
