JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic enterprise program team in Minneapolis as a Senior Program Manager, where you will lead complex, high-impact initiatives that span multiple business and technology workstreams. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic outcomes, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and help deliver meaningful value through thoughtful leadership, clear communication, and disciplined program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-level programs that include multiple projects and workstreams aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Define program objectives, key deliverables, success measures, and integrated timelines across the full initiative.
  • Track scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization to keep programs within established tolerances.
  • Provide clear status reporting and executive-level communication to keep sponsors and stakeholders informed.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and tradeoffs to support timely decision-making.
  • Guide project managers and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent execution and alignment with program goals.
  • Partner with sponsors, subject matter experts, vendors, and internal teams to drive adoption and deliver expected value.
  • Support change management efforts and help ensure consistency across all related workstreams.
  • Recommend course corrections and process improvements that strengthen delivery and maximize program outcomes.
  • Coach and mentor project delivery staff while supporting enterprise project management practices.
  • Coordinate business and technology efforts while serving as a connection point for process, systems, and change.

Skills

  • 8+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 6+ years of experience working with multiple SDLC methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, and hybrid approaches.
  • 6+ years of experience leading operational and technology initiatives in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Proven ability to manage complexity, risk, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to influence decisions, resolve conflict diplomatically, and guide teams through change.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to lead through influence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, computer science, or equivalent related experience and/or education.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience working with implementation partners.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
  • Experience providing coaching and mentoring in a project delivery environment.
  • Experience leading process improvement efforts within an enterprise PMO or similar function.
