Join a dynamic operations team in a highly cross-functional role where you’ll help streamline intake, improve workflow clarity, and support strong collaboration across multiple partners. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, managing competing priorities, and turning complex requests into clean, actionable work.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage a unified intake process for incoming requests, initiative submissions, and cross-functional asks.
- Review and triage submissions, identify duplicates or missing details, and prepare well-defined items for planning review.
- Establish and maintain clear intake standards, service-level expectations, and qualification criteria.
- Support outbound request tracking by submitting, monitoring, and following through on requests sent to other teams.
- Serve as a key point of contact for partner teams and help maintain productive working relationships.
- Track request status, follow up on stalled items, and provide visibility into commitments and progress.
- Build reporting on intake volume, request types, turnaround times, and process bottlenecks.
- Continuously improve the intake operating model by identifying friction points and recommending process enhancements.
Skills
- 6–8+ years of experience in program management, business operations, or a similarly cross-functional intake/operations role.
- Proven ability to influence across teams and drive process improvements without formal authority.
- Hands-on experience with intake or workflow tools such as Airtable, Asana, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with volume, throughput, and SLA-related data.
- Experience managing complex, multi-phase workstreams with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Highly organized, proactive, and committed to documentation, follow-through, and context preservation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to complete a background check and drug screen upon offer.
Preferred Skills
- Experience building reporting dashboards or operational views to support leadership decision-making.
- Comfort with light automation, templates, and field logic within workflow systems.
- Experience working in fast-moving, highly collaborative environments.
- Strong bias toward process design and continuous improvement.
- Ability to create polished, executive-ready materials and clear status updates.
