Join a fast-paced team building modern user experiences for web and connected TV platforms, with opportunities to expand into additional devices over time. This role is ideal for a collaborative UI engineer who enjoys creating polished, accessible, and high-performing products using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
Responsibilities
- Partner with design, product, backend engineering, and data science teams to build engaging user experiences.
- Develop and enhance product features and experimentation work using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
- Build maintainable web and TV client applications with clear documentation and thoughtful implementation.
- Create automated tests, including unit coverage and end-to-end UI validation, to support quality and reliability.
- Contribute to a high-performance environment by sharing ideas, collaborating openly, and taking ownership of your work.
- Apply a practical, user-focused approach to problem-solving while balancing tradeoffs and long-term maintainability.
Skills
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping software with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, or server-driven UI approaches.
- Strong experience using unit tests and automation tools to verify quality and support releases.
- Ability to write maintainable, well-documented code for modern web applications.
- Comfort working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional partners.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to seek feedback and different perspectives.
- Thoughtful decision-making with the ability to avoid unnecessary complexity.
- Commitment to helping others grow and contributing to an inclusive, supportive team culture.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with TV, mobile, or full-stack environments.
- Exposure to accessibility best practices and performance-minded UI development.
- Interest in UX, consumer behavior, or business strategy as it relates to product development.
- Familiarity with feature experimentation or A/B testing workflows.
