We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer to support a platform that helps engineering teams deploy software to the cloud and data center. This is an opportunity to contribute to meaningful platform capabilities, modernize systems, and help deliver solutions that enable teams to ship code more efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver major platform features and capabilities that support internal engineering teams.
- Break down complex work into clear, actionable tasks and define acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design and implement improvements to deployment tooling and platform services.
- Help maintain and modernize systems to keep the platform current, reliable, and scalable.
- Contribute to software development across the full stack with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.
- Support a culture of knowledge sharing by coaching and guiding junior engineers when needed.
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of application development experience.
- 3+ years of full stack application development experience.
- Strong experience with Ruby or another object-oriented programming language.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to define clear acceptance criteria for technical work.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure or platform operations.
- Experience with AWS administration.
- Familiarity with AWS EKS and Argo CD.
- Experience using AI tools such as Copilot to support software development.
- Leadership skills with an interest in mentoring and supporting other engineers.
