Bring your data engineering expertise to a hybrid role where you’ll help build and support scalable data solutions in a cloud-based environment. This position offers the chance to work with modern tools and practices, including Databricks and ETL, while contributing to impactful technical deliverables on a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data engineering solutions that support analytics and business needs
- Build and optimize SQL-based data models with a focus on performance and reliability
- Develop data processing workflows using Python, Scala, Java, or similar programming languages
- Work with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark or equivalent technologies
- Support cloud-based data platforms across Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Contribute to data warehouse, data lake, and analytics ecosystem solutions
- Participate in version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices to support efficient delivery
- Independently own complex technical tasks and deliver high-quality results
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or platform engineering
- Strong SQL skills, including data modeling and query performance optimization
- Hands-on programming experience in Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark
- Experience building and operating solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and analytics environments
- Experience working with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with Databricks
- Experience with ETL workflows
- Exposure to hybrid work environments
- Background in delivering technical solutions in collaborative, fast-moving teams
