Join a high-impact event partnerships team in a strategic operations role supporting large-scale global activations. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and enjoys turning complex plans into seamless on-the-ground execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine operational plans for major international event programs and associated activations.
- Refresh and maintain an operational playbook that can be adapted for future event partnerships.
- Lead end-to-end planning for onsite requirements, including hospitality, transportation, parking, accommodation, ticketing, and accreditation.
- Coordinate with executive stakeholders on VIP and high-touch hospitality needs.
- Build and execute onsite staff operations plans in partnership with safety, security, and internal communications teams.
- Support contingency planning for workforce, guests, and athlete-related operational scenarios.
- Partner with external agencies on ticketing, accreditation, transportation, and other delivery workstreams.
- Oversee internal submissions, approvals, and communications to keep programs on track.
- Guide operational staff and help prioritize key workstreams across the team.
- Facilitate internal taskforce meetings, prepare executive summaries, and share recommendations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to other working groups as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup environments.
- Strong background working with executives, board members, or other high-touch stakeholders in major event settings.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and remain effective in a fast-moving environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
- Deep subject matter expertise in sport and established relationships within the IOC and FIFA.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to leadership.
- Willingness to travel regularly and work onsite at events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience developing operational playbooks or frameworks for large-scale events.
- Background coordinating complex logistics across multiple stakeholders and agencies.
- Experience supporting executive hospitality or premium onsite experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot when plans change.
- Familiarity with managing communications across global teams and diverse workstreams.
