Join a dynamic Employee Communications team as a Communications Manager supporting People Experience communications across the employee lifecycle. This hybrid role in Foster City offers the opportunity to shape thoughtful, engaging messaging that connects employees to company priorities, programs, and culture.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communications for People Experience programs, including onboarding, compensation, performance, and engagement.
- Partner with teams across Compensation, People Operations, Talent, People Development, and Experience to create aligned, clear, and effective messaging.
- Build end-to-end communications plans that support People Experience strategy and broader company goals.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to translate initiatives into compelling stories and communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve communication processes, increase engagement, and strengthen program effectiveness.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in employee communications and/or HR/People Experience communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and navigating complex environments.
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage several high-priority projects at once.
- Comfort with an evolving environment where some programs are still being defined.
- Interest in using AI tools to enhance communication impact and improve workflows.
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Canva, Google Workspace, AI platforms, Confluence, and Zoom Events.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating integrated communications plans for employee-facing programs.
- Background supporting large-scale organizational initiatives or change communications.
- Ability to bring fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to developing programs.
- Strong collaboration skills and a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach.
