- Create clear handoff documentation with interaction details, component guidance, accessibility notes, and content considerations so engineering teams can build with confidence.
- Contribute to and extend the design system by applying reusable components and patterns that support consistency and scalability.
- Review implemented designs, identify issues, and partner with engineers to ensure the final product matches the intended experience.
- Support an evolving roadmap after launch by designing enhancements, new modules, and new learning or guidance experiences.
- Use analytics, user feedback, and research insights to prioritize improvements and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Content partners throughout agile ceremonies to keep design work aligned with sprint goals and delivery timelines.
- Track post-launch outcomes and contribute ideas that improve engagement, task completion, and overall user experience.
Skills
- 5+ years of digital product design experience with a portfolio or case studies that demonstrate production-ready work.
- Strong experience designing complex, workflow-driven, or self-service experiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, prototyping, and handoff workflows.
- Strong UX, interaction design, and visual design skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams in an agile environment from discovery through QA.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and defend recommendations with evidence.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and concurrent sprints.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in financial services, financial wellness, education, or other regulated environments.
- Background designing learning, coaching, or behavior-change experiences.
- Experience with experimentation, personalization, or optimization of digital journeys.
- Exposure to AI-powered features, with awareness of responsible AI and privacy-by-design practices.
- Familiarity with collaborative whiteboarding tools such as FigJam or Miro.
- Experience working on products that continue to evolve after launch.
