We’re seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects across data center environments, including new builds, expansions, migrations, upgrades, and decommissioning. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams, keeping complex projects on track, and supporting critical operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data center projects from planning through execution and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk mitigation plans
- Coordinate with facilities, infrastructure, network, and external vendor teams to support successful project outcomes
- Manage project activities related to design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and decommissioning
- Track progress, identify issues, and help drive resolutions to keep projects on time and within budget
- Support safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements throughout the lifecycle of each project
- Contribute to capacity planning and long-term data center strategy initiatives
- Travel to other locations within the DFW area as needed to support project needs
Skills
- At least 5 years of project management experience in data center or infrastructure environments
- Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and networking
- Experience managing complex, multi-vendor projects
- Ability to work independently while staying highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to align project tasks and technical solutions with business requirements
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Project, and Visio
- Willingness and ability to travel to other facilities as needed
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience supporting Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) implementations
- Background supporting infrastructure planning or operational improvement initiatives
- Experience working across multiple teams and priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong initiative and the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
