What You’ll Do:

• Lead the migration of complex data systems from PostgreSQL to DynamoDB.
• Design, deploy, and optimize highly available architectures using Terraform.
• Contribute to shaping the company’s technical roadmap and architecture initiatives.
• Collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams, including engineering, Product, and Program Management.
• Develop robust microservices using Kotlin and Python to meet high-performance standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record shipping large-scale backend services to production.
• Expertise in Kotlin, Spring Boot, REST API design, and databases.
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services such as DynamoDB, IAM, and PostgreSQL.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in transportation, robotics, logistics, or autonomous vehicle sectors.
• Familiarity with protocol buffers (protobufs), gRPC, and LLM-based coding tools like Claude Code.
• Knowledge of observability frameworks like OpenTelemetry and Grafana.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and multi-region deployments.

• Ability to work onsite in Foster City, CA.
• Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
