IT Application Engineer

Join our innovative team as an IT Application Engineer and become a vital contributor to advancing cutting-edge automotive technology. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support and optimize application lifecycle management tools that drive our engineering and development processes. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our applications, helping us stay ahead in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Development experience in Java, Javascript, Velocity, and Python
• Experience working with Polarion or similar ALM applications (preferred but not required)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL and Postgres

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience within regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, financial, or automotive sectors
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring and management
• Skills in developing dashboards and live reports using Velocity and Javascript
• Familiarity with change management, workflows, and integration of custom tools

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Prior experience supporting ALM applications in a collaborative environment

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work onsite in Foster City, CA, 4 days per week
• Flexibility to accommodate weekend hours if needed
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screen upon offer
