This hybrid contract opportunity in Plymouth, MN is ideal for a business process improvement professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving systems, and building scalable solutions that support executive decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Assess current workflows, reporting practices, and system usage to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes and reduce manual work, duplicate effort, and inconsistencies.
- Improve Salesforce reporting structures, dashboards, data models, and forecasting approaches.
- Develop scalable reporting frameworks, governance standards, and best practices to support long-term operational success.
- Create executive dashboards and KPI reporting using tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, and other enterprise platforms.
- Support forecasting and planning activities, including budget forecasting, program schedules, and resource planning.
- Lead efforts to standardize taxonomy and nomenclature across therapies, products, and education program types.
- Collaborate with teams across Medical Affairs, IT, Finance, Salesforce, and Commercial functions to implement process and technology improvements.
- Research industry best practices and apply insights to reporting, forecasting, dashboard design, and governance models.
- Support change management, documentation, and training to drive adoption of new processes and solutions.
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in business process improvement, business analysis, operations excellence, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting, administration, and process optimization.
- Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions in Tableau.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet and enterprise workflow management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs, metrics, and executive-level reporting.
- Experience with forecasting methods, financial planning support, and long-range resource planning.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and system administrators.
- Knowledge of data governance, reporting standards, taxonomy management, and process documentation.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Medical Affairs environments.
- Familiarity with physician education, professional education, or commercial training organizations.
- Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or similar process improvement certifications.
- Experience supporting Salesforce data architecture and governance initiatives.
- Exposure to healthcare compliance, finance, and forecasting teams.
- Background in digital transformation or business process redesign initiatives.
