Join a newly forming credit analyst team supporting automated decisioning and exception handling for a fast-moving business environment. This role focuses on conducting risk assessments, reviewing credit holds, and making clear, data-driven recommendations that help improve approval processes and strengthen operational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Review exceptions to automated processes and assess cases that require additional analysis.
- Evaluate business risk using spend requirements and established risk thresholds.
- Analyze credit holds and determine appropriate next steps based on data and policy.
- Document rationale for order approval recommendations in a clear and organized manner.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support thoughtful, efficient decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve existing workflows and contribute to process enhancements.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Skills
- 6+ years of experience in a B2B software or consumption-based business environment.
- Strong background in credit analysis, risk assessment, or a related analytical function.
- Experience working in a B2B context; consumer-focused backgrounds are not a fit for this role.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.
- Ability to work confidently in systems such as Stripe, Salesforce, and Teserio.
- Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment when making recommendations.
- Clear written communication skills for documenting decisions and business rationale.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting credit, risk, or approvals workflows within a technology environment.
- Familiarity with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Comfort working in a growing team environment with evolving responsibilities.
- Experience collaborating across functions to support business decisions.
- Ability to adapt quickly and contribute to scaling processes as team needs expand.
