Join a major content and knowledge services modernization initiative as a Java Developer focused on building backend services, integrations, and APIs that help transform and deliver enterprise content across multiple platforms. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support backend services for content and knowledge platforms.
- Build and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices that power enterprise integrations.
- Create and enhance REST APIs to move data and content between internal and external systems.
- Support content transformation, publishing, and delivery workflows across multiple channels.
- Work with event-driven and distributed architectures to improve scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver modern solutions.
- Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD practices, and standard software engineering best practices.
- Integrate with databases and external platforms while supporting ongoing system improvements.
Skills
- Strong experience with Java 11+ development.
- Hands-on Spring Boot and microservices development experience.
- Experience building and supporting REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of event-driven and distributed systems.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows.
- Proficiency with Git and modern development practices.
- Experience working with external systems and APIs.
- Comfortable working in an agile delivery environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Background in content transformation and publishing pipelines.
- Exposure to XML, JSON, metadata, DITA, or taxonomy concepts.
- Experience in healthcare or enterprise knowledge management environments.
- Interest in working on modern content and knowledge services solutions.
