We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic finance initiative focused on digitalizing critical financial information in support of regulatory requirements. This role offers the opportunity to guide cross-functional teams, coordinate vendors and internal partners, and drive delivery of a high-visibility project with meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project activities, including planning, execution, governance, communications, and delivery tracking.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to keep work on track.
- Build and maintain detailed work plans with milestones, ownership, and key delivery dates.
- Facilitate daily execution by removing blockers and keeping teams aligned on priorities and next steps.
- Partner with internal technology teams and an external service provider to identify interim solutions and scalable future-state improvements.
- Coordinate project communications, status updates, and stakeholder engagement across business leaders, vendors, and team members.
- Establish and support project governance, including steering committee meetings, workstreams, decision logs, and RAID tracking.
- Ensure project deliverables remain aligned to business goals, required outcomes, and internal documentation standards.
- Identify cross-functional dependencies and help integrate them effectively into the overall project plan.
- Support continuous improvement by looking for opportunities to strengthen project processes and outcomes as needs evolve.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education and experience.
- 10+ years of project management experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
- Strong experience working with vendor-based solutions and coordinating across multiple teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to document process flows and explain solutions clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- PMP certification.
- Agile or Scrum certification.
- Experience supporting finance-related or regulatory-focused projects.
- Familiarity with building scalable processes and balancing short-term solutions with long-term planning.
- Experience facilitating governance forums and supporting executive-level reporting.
