Join a dynamic IT project leadership opportunity supporting a major enterprise systems initiative in Maplewood, MN. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating cross-functional teams, keeping complex projects on track, and helping drive successful delivery through clear communication, organization, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Support the IT side of a project by coordinating planning, scope, timelines, resources, and project communications.
- Maintain the project plan, timeline, and RAID log to help track risks, actions, issues, and decisions.
- Work closely with finance, supply chain, IT, and data migration teams to monitor progress and resolve dependencies.
- Schedule and facilitate status meetings, including preparing agendas, meeting notes, and action trackers.
- Coordinate testing activities such as UAT scheduling, defect tracking, and sign-off documentation.
- Assist with change management efforts, including training schedules, stakeholder updates, and communication planning.
- Track budget, vendor activity, and resource allocation against the project plan.
- Prepare status reports and dashboards for leadership, sponsors, and steering committee updates.
- Escalate risks, blockers, and emerging issues in a timely manner to the project manager.
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within ERP or large-scale systems implementations.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience supporting schedules, timelines, and project tracking tools.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to support risk tracking, issue management, and project documentation.
- Experience facilitating meetings and preparing agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to SAP or S/4HANA is a strong plus.
- Experience using tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Background in UAT coordination and defect tracking.
- Experience creating status reports, dashboards, or executive-level project updates.
- Familiarity with change management support and stakeholder communication.
- CAPM or PMP certification, or active progress toward one, is a plus.
