Join a dynamic healthcare analytics team as a Clinical Business/Data Analyst supporting efforts that turn business needs into clear requirements, actionable features, and validated solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, analyzing data, and helping improve processes that support clinical quality and care gap closure.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into clear deliverables for technical teams.
- Help shape and prioritize features within an agile delivery environment.
- Collaborate with technology and business partners to refine requirements and ensure alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
- Validate solutions through demos, testing, and data analysis to confirm requirements have been met.
- Write test cases and track issues through resolution.
- Support operational system configurations as needed.
- Review clinical charts to determine whether evidence is present and interpret chart details related to care gap closure.
Skills
- 5+ years of overall experience in clinical informatics, business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data accurately.
- Experience working in Agile and SDLC environments.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience writing test cases and validating delivered solutions.
- Comfort reviewing clinical information and applying it to quality or care gap concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Background in clinical informatics or a clinical environment.
- Experience with CMS and NCQA quality measures.
- Knowledge of healthcare quality initiatives and related business processes.
- Prior experience translating business needs into features within Aha or similar tools.
- Exposure to software or data development projects.
- Familiarity with healthcare operations and process improvement work.
