Join a collaborative technology team focused on building and supporting modern APIs that power internal and external products across the organization. This hybrid role is based in Greenwood Village, CO, and offers the opportunity to work with cloud-based tools and automation in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based APIs that support middleware services and business applications.
- Build reliable integrations for a variety of internal and external products and support portals.
- Work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver cloud-based technical solutions.
- Support automation efforts across AWS and on-premise environments.
- Develop and maintain solutions that improve delivery, quality, efficiency, and user experience.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution as needed.
- Contribute to CI/CD practices, source control processes, and code review workflows.
- Collaborate on system improvements, technical designs, and implementation of security best practices.
- Assist with root cause analysis and coordinate resolution efforts when application issues arise.
Skills
- Strong experience developing APIs with Python.
- Background working on middleware teams supporting multiple applications or platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Containerization experience using Docker.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in an Agile team environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch.
- Exposure to Kubernetes.
- Experience with React, HTML/CSS, Node.js, or SQL.
- Knowledge of version control best practices, including branching and code review workflows.
- Experience supporting production systems and coordinating issue resolution.
- Ability to mentor others and contribute to team learning.
