Join a dynamic privacy and compliance team supporting enterprise consent and preference-management initiatives across digital and marketing platforms. This hybrid consulting role offers the opportunity to shape privacy requirements, strengthen governance, and help ensure consumer privacy choices are honored across systems and experiences.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current privacy practices and identify gaps in regulatory, operational, and control frameworks.
- Translate privacy laws, legal guidance, and business needs into clear functional requirements, business rules, controls, and procedures.
- Support privacy impact assessments, privacy-by-design reviews, data mapping, data minimization, and retention activities.
- Review privacy notices, cookie policies, data collection practices, and third-party data-sharing processes.
- Define requirements for consumer privacy rights, including access, deletion, correction, and opt-out requests.
- Develop cookie consent requirements for banners, categories, trackers, regional rules, GPC signals, and consent withdrawal.
- Shape authenticated preference-center requirements for channels such as email, SMS, phone, push, brands, topics, and frequency settings.
- Establish rules for managing anonymous cookie preferences and known customer preferences after login.
- Review and advise on privacy platform configurations for assessments, consent records, cookie consent, and preference management.
- Help ensure privacy choices and opt-outs are consistently applied across CRM, CDP, marketing, analytics, advertising, and communications tools.
- Lead functional testing, UAT, compliance validation, and business sign-off activities.
- Create governance procedures, control documentation, reporting materials, and training resources.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in privacy, compliance, data governance, or consent management.
- Strong working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, U.S. state privacy laws, cookie regulations, GPC, and consumer privacy rights.
- Hands-on functional experience with OneTrust, including Cookie Consent/CMP and Consent & Preference Management.
- Experience supporting privacy impact assessments, privacy controls, and compliance reviews.
- Ability to convert regulations into functional requirements, process flows, compliance matrices, test cases, and operating procedures.
- Experience collaborating across Privacy, Legal, Marketing, Product, Data, and Technology teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, RT-CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, AEM, Adobe Analytics, or Marketo.
- Additional experience with privacy or consent management platforms.
- IAPP certification such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, or CIPM.
- OneTrust Privacy and Consent certification.
