Join a dynamic team as a Business Process Engineer supporting important process improvement work across donor search, donor workup, and revenue cycle management. This 12-month opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex problems, partnering with cross-functional teams, and turning business needs into clear, actionable process solutions.
Responsibilities
- Document current-state and future-state workflows for key business processes, including handoffs, decision points, dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate working sessions with stakeholders to gather input, align expectations, and clarify business needs.
- Translate business discussions into well-defined process requirements that can support automation and system integration efforts.
- Partner with enterprise architects, product owners, and technical teams to help identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
- Analyze processes to uncover gaps, inefficiencies, duplicate work, and manual workarounds, and recommend practical improvements.
- Create clear, organized documentation that can be used by project teams, architects, product teams, and implementation partners.
- Communicate process findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support work connected to Salesforce Health Cloud, Oracle ERP integrations, and broader enterprise system alignment.
- Operate independently in a fast-paced environment while proactively raising questions, risks, and blockers as they arise.
- Contribute to project milestones with strong attention to detail and responsiveness to feedback.
Skills
- Proven experience in business process mapping and analysis.
- Strong proficiency with process documentation tools such as Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, or similar platforms.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder sessions and synthesize input into clear process documentation.
- Experience translating business needs into process requirements and improvement recommendations.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across business, product, architecture, and technology teams.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes in a simple and practical way.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, evolving environments and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Experience with Oracle ERP integrations.
- Familiarity with workflow automation and enterprise system integration projects.
- Experience supporting business process improvements in healthcare-related or mission-driven environments.
- Ability to build trust quickly and help bring structure to undefined or complex work.
