- Deploy and configure observability components for EKS and ECS environments, including dashboards, alerts, logs, and tracing.
- Support OpenTelemetry implementation and help integrate tracing, metrics, and logs across AWS services.
- Contribute to secure and repeatable cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, and related automation tools.
- Create clear technical documentation, including design documents, runbooks, architecture decisions, and validation evidence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, security, operations, SRE, and delivery teams to support audit-ready execution.
- Help ensure solutions align with regulated financial services expectations, including operational resilience and change-control practices.
Skills
- Hands-on AWS DevOps experience with strong knowledge of cloud-native delivery practices.
- Practical experience with observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus, Amazon Managed Grafana, and AWS X-Ray.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes-based environments, especially EKS, and familiarity with ECS.
- Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry standards and deployment of ADOT collectors in AWS environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong understanding of AWS security and access controls, including IAM and Secrets Manager.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation for review and audit purposes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a regulated enterprise environment, preferably financial services.
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid schedule and participate in interview and onboarding requirements as needed.
Preferred Skills
- AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification or equivalent AWS credentials.
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate or CKA certification.
- Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, or Dynatrace.
- Exposure to AWS services such as EventBridge, Systems Manager, SNS/SQS, Lambda, Kinesis, or OpenSearch.
- Familiarity with operational resilience concepts such as RTO/RPO and multi-region disaster recovery.
- Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance, and audit documentation in enterprise environments.
- Python or Bash scripting experience for automation and operational support.
