JOB DESCRIPTION

This Senior Manager, Product role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives, and identify new growth opportunities for a product line centered on customer needs, market insights, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and lifecycle management for a Decision Support product line.
  • Identify, evaluate, and help incubate new product opportunities through research, customer discovery, pilot efforts, and market testing.
  • Partner with teams across customer experience, marketing research, finance, operations, and IT to translate customer insights into product direction.
  • Guide cross-functional teams through business case development, financial planning, and solution design within technical constraints.
  • Support go-to-market planning and operational alignment to help launch and scale products effectively.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze trends and metrics, and recommend improvements based on data and feedback.
  • Lead and mentor product managers and business analysts while fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure product priorities align with organizational goals and customer needs.
  • Drive innovation by testing ideas, learning from results, and refining solutions to support long-term growth.

Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of directly related experience, ideally within healthcare or a related industry.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience leading teams and working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong product management background, including discovery, roadmap development, and product lifecycle management.
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating market opportunities, and supporting product strategy.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed, strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead through change, solve complex problems, and work effectively across functions.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate insights into practical product requirements.
  • BA or BS in business, management, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in pharma, clinical, biotech, or cellular therapy environments.
  • Background in Salesforce, supply chain, or personalization initiatives.
  • Experience with platform development and large-scale technology initiatives.
  • MBA or other advanced business education.
  • Experience with P&L ownership and financial forecasting.
  • Exposure to AI roadmap planning or emerging technology strategy.
  • Ability to bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong external market perspective.
