We’re looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to support enhancement work for a public-sector health and human services initiative. This role is focused on gathering and refining business requirements, partnering closely with stakeholders, and helping deliver high-quality solutions within a collaborative project team.
Responsibilities
- Gather, review, analyze, and document business requirements for functional and non-functional needs
- Lead and support requirements discovery, validation, and ongoing documentation updates
- Work with client and internal stakeholders to align scope, strategy, integration, and delivery plans
- Track issues, risks, requirements, and schedules to help keep project work on course
- Support timely deployments and help ensure work meets contract expectations
- Monitor day-to-day project activity and maintain visibility with key stakeholders
- Contribute to delivery quality, customer value, and reporting outcomes to stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams involved in SDLC processes and project execution
- Assist with government RFP responses and SOW-related activities as needed
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
- 3+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading requirements gathering and validation efforts
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare, with exposure to health and human services programs such as SNAP and Medicaid
- 1+ years of experience managing project controls, including issues, risks, requirements, scope, and schedules
- Experience working within SDLC environments
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands while maintaining quality and responsiveness
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting government RFP responses and SOW activities
- Background working on large, cross-functional teams
- Experience helping maintain visibility across project work and executive stakeholders
- Ability to adapt quickly and help sustain momentum across changing priorities
- Experience with public-sector or health-related transformation initiatives
