This role offers the opportunity to support capital equipment, spare parts, and services sourcing while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to help keep important programs moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Lead RFQ processes, negotiations, and supplier selection efforts for complex, high-value technical purchases
  • Build and improve sourcing frameworks, standard operating procedures, and operating rhythms that support scalable procurement processes
  • Develop and maintain supplier performance programs, including scorecards, service expectations, and recurring business reviews
  • Help identify supply chain risks and support mitigation strategies such as alternate sourcing, should-cost analysis, and contingency planning
  • Track budgets, monitor cost variances, and support change management governance related to procurement activity
  • Partner with planning, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to align sourcing timelines with project and site milestones
  • Support inventory strategy and spare parts availability to help ensure readiness and continuity
  • Contribute to cost optimization efforts and help drive measurable savings where possible
  • Serve as a procurement resource within cross-functional planning discussions and help influence strategic decisions

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management in an industrial, technical, or similar environment
  • Experience managing CAPEX, MRO, or NPI procurement programs and vendor portfolios
  • Background in negotiating contracts with OEMs, equipment manufacturers, or construction contractors
  • Ability to develop sourcing strategies, procurement processes, or standard operating procedures
  • Strong experience in manufacturing and supply chain settings
  • Hands-on experience with new product introduction sourcing and technical procurement support
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong project management capabilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in automation, semiconductors, high-tech, or a comparable technical industry
  • Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement training or certification
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering cost optimization results
  • MBA or master’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a technical product development environment with multiple stakeholders
