Join a dynamic IT infrastructure support team where you’ll help keep employees connected and productive across corporate, manufacturing, and distribution environments. This role offers the chance to work with a wide range of devices and systems while supporting fast-paced enterprise operations and delivering responsive, hands-on technical support.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and prioritize incoming service desk requests to ensure timely resolution of end-user issues
- Track work and document activity within the IT service management platform
- Provide rapid technical support across office, warehouse, and manufacturing locations
- Support laptops, desktops, handheld barcode scanners, label printers, custom workstations, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other business software
- Perform user and system administration tasks in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Assist corporate IT teams with local, hands-on troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Set up and refresh computers and maintain ready-to-use end-user devices
- Create and update documentation, standard procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Support service desk projects and participate in after-hours on-call coverage as needed
Skills
- Experience supporting laptops and desktops in an enterprise environment
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or a similar ticketing and time-tracking system
- Strong understanding of Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, peripherals, and end-user systems in a fast-moving environment
- Clear communication skills and a strong customer service mindset
- Self-directed approach with the ability to work independently or collaborate with remote teammates
- Ability to manage priorities and respond quickly to operational support needs
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing or distribution center environments
- Familiarity with handheld scanners, printers, wired and wireless networking, and IP phones
- Exposure to MacOS support
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- 1-3 years of enterprise help desk or desktop support experience
- Strong documentation habits and an interest in building process improvements
- Comfort with physical work, including lifting and moving equipment as needed
