We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-visibility business project from planning through transition to operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can manage complex stakeholder relationships, and knows how to keep scope, schedule, risk, and quality on track.
Responsibilities
- Lead project execution from charter to completion, ensuring deliverables align with business goals
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, and dependencies
- Identify resource needs and coordinate with key leadership and PMO partners to secure the right support
- Hold team members accountable for commitments while offering coaching and guidance as needed
- Maintain project documentation, artifacts, and methodology standards throughout the lifecycle
- Track success measures, monitor performance, and evaluate cost-benefit considerations
- Spot risks and issues early, recommend corrective actions, and manage change requests effectively
- Provide clear status updates, progress reports, and stakeholder communications
- Escalate significant risks and concerns to project sponsors and steering committees when needed
- Collaborate with business partners, vendors, technology teams, and project staff to drive alignment and adoption
- Support a smooth transition of the project into business-as-usual operations at closeout
Skills
- Proven experience managing multiple complex projects from design through delivery
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working in ambiguous, changing, or fast-moving environments
- Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to balance priorities across multiple stakeholders and customer needs
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to present progress, risks, and action plans effectively
Preferred Skills
- Experience with structured project methodologies and CMMI-based practices
- Background in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field
- Ability to quickly evaluate complex concepts and turn them into actionable next steps
- Experience building collaboration across business, vendor, technology, and leadership teams
- Comfort making objective decisions and navigating shifting priorities
