This role is a hands-on transaction coordination position supporting a fast-paced commercial sales team with end-to-end quote-to-cash operations. You will help keep deals moving by managing quotes, contracts, signatures, provisioning tasks, and customer or internal questions with speed and precision.
This role is fully onsite, 5 day per week, in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities
- Own the workflow from quote creation through contract signature and order completion for new business, renewals, and pricing transitions.
- Build and maintain quotes in Salesforce CPQ, including required validations, approvals, and routing steps.
- Coordinate contract documents through lifecycle management and e-signature tools, ensuring correct routing, accuracy, and timely completion.
- Support paired termination and new order form processes for customers moving between pricing models, while aligning terms and approvals across teams.
- Monitor shared sales and deal-support channels for blockers and proactively help resolve issues that could delay a close.
- Respond to transactional questions from account teams and customers related to pricing models, billing, renewals, and contract terms.
- Support trial and provisioning requests, including troubleshooting duplicate orgs, seat requests, and related operational issues.
- Coordinate billing escalations and compliance-related workflows with internal partners in finance, legal, deal desk, and operations.
- Maintain accurate Salesforce records for opportunity stage, contract status, and next steps.
- Document recurring process issues, edge cases, and workaround steps to improve future deal execution.
Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, order management, or sales support.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ or a similar quoting platform.
- Experience with contract lifecycle or e-signature tools such as Ironclad, Conga, or DocuSign CLM.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-volume workflows at once.
- Clear written communication skills and the ability to explain contract and pricing details effectively.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, Slack-heavy, asynchronous environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow through independently, and anticipate what needs attention before it becomes a blocker.
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, finance, revenue operations, and customer-facing teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, order forms, MSAs, net terms, and quote-to-cash processes.
- Working knowledge of provisioning and trial support operations.
- Ability to identify recurring process gaps and create practical documentation or runbooks.
- Strong commercial awareness and judgment around when to resolve an issue directly versus escalate it to the account team.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and how it is shaping modern business operations.
